Being co in charge of the Instagram for the ‘National College Radio’ is extremely fun as it allowed us to create different versions of posts and then adapt them together. For example, I had been looking into other radio stations and I noticed ‘Shock Radio’ posted on different events that are happening on specific dates e.g. Halloween. I suggested that we start to do this to engage more with the audience. I also thought we could do a similar idea as them in terms of including a track of the week or an album of the week, this means that we always had something to post on our story even if there was no upcoming radio events. I created the basis for the bonfire post and then Jack adapted it and we came up with the post that is up there now. Keeping with the colour scheme was a key factor, when the first live radio show was coming up I made sure to post on the Instagram story delay with the live countdown of the show. This countdown included various gifs and the hashtag National College Radio, this allows audiences to interact with the station and view other posts.
