A social enterprise is “a business that helps people or communities” (Gov.uk, N/A). Brighter Soundis a prime example of a social enterprise it is a “Creative music charity” that aims to “change the lives of individuals through music, supports and promotes diverse talent and acts as a catalyst for change in the music industry” (Brighter Sound, 2019). One of their value propositions is the Artists, they receive mentoring through the process of creating music and finding their voices. Brighter Sounds also portray their revenue streams through their website, they have a whole tab for individuals to support their cause by donating. They also have a monthly subscription in which you will receive exclusive invites to events. You can also become a corporate partnership, for example they “produce one – off music events and workshops for brands like Reebok.” (Brighter Sounds, 2019). They have various social media channels such as Instagram, twitter and Facebook which provide the customer with up to date information on the charity. The key resources that they advertise are work experience for year 10 – 13 students and professional work placements for university students, these show that this charity is giving back to the community by giving young individuals a chance to learn and gain their own experience. Brighter Sound proves that you can create new unique ways to incorporate younger customers into the charity they have made.
